The SVG Editor lets you import SVG files from your device, paste SVG code, or load from a URL. You can edit the SVG code live with syntax highlighting, preview changes instantly, convert SVG to JSX format for React projects, and export as SVG, PNG, WebP, JPG, or AVIF. All processing happens 100% in your browser — no server needed.
No! The SVG Editor is completely privacy-first and client-side. Your SVG files never leave your browser. All import, editing, and export operations happen locally using native Web APIs. This makes it safe to use with sensitive or proprietary SVG files.
You can export your SVG in multiple formats: SVG (vector, editable), PNG (raster with transparency), WebP (modern compressed), JPG (with white background), and AVIF (next-gen format, with fallback for unsupported browsers). All exports are generated directly in your browser.
The JSX converter automatically transforms SVG code for React: converts class to className, converts kebab-case attributes to camelCase (like stroke-width to strokeWidth), removes XML declarations, and preserves all SVG elements like defs, masks, filters, gradients, and viewBox. The output is ready to paste directly into React components.
Yes, you can importSVG from a URL. However, this requires the remote server to allow CORS (Cross-Origin Resource Sharing). If the server doesn't support CORS, the import will fail with a clear error message. For best results, use local file import or paste SVG code directly.
