What code formats can the scanner read?

QR codes, barcodes (EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E), Code 128, Code 39, DataMatrix, Aztec, and other 1D/2D symbologies via ZXing library.

Does it work without internet?

Yes, after initial page load, scanning works fully offline. All processing happens in-browser — perfect for areas with limited connectivity.

Can I scan QR codes from photos?

Yes, upload image files (PNG, JPG, etc.) to decode QR/barcodes from saved pictures. Camera mode supports real-time scanning.

Are scans stored on any server?

No. Scans are processed client-side only. History is stored locally in browser storage and never transmitted.

Does it support flashlight and camera switching?

Yes, toggle flashlight for low-light conditions and switch between front/rear cameras on mobile devices that support WebRTC.
